Montsouris Park
Open every day from 8 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. in winter and until 9:30 p.m. in summer. Montsouris Park is an exception among the other gardens in Paris as it consists in a landscaped garden with hundred-year-old trees and rare birds. Designed at the end of the XIXth century, Montsouris Park stretches over 15 hectares. It is part of the parks created under the rule of Napoleon III and Prefect Haussmann during the second empire in order to offer Parisians an area of relaxation and leisure. This Peaceful and quiet place, will welcome you among an impressive number of plants and bird species. By foot or by “Velib”, you may go for a walk or a ride among the woods.
